Found a similar report on AT&T forums. Not the same LG model, but it looks like the same problem and apparently your carrier kind of hide that app. You could try that solution or use Nova Activities. The stock Launcher won't show it, It's as if it's not on the phone. I can't open the app. I shall try making a widget for it so it can show up as a recent activity. The app is voice recorder.
Try using QuickShortcutMaker. It will display all apps and activities so long as they're on your device. It has a search function as well, but if you can't find what you seek, the carrier may have removed it from the firmware. Verizon is notorious for doing this, but I am uncertain of other carriers policies.I just got an LG K10 from AT&T and I can't find a pre-installed app. Anyone know if a way I could search for it?
Lol, I knew AT&T was at fault. They ruin every phone I get from them. I haven't even been able to root the last two phones I got from them.
Thank you for your help.
I don't think you can. It's just a widget for an specific activity, so if you remove it from your home screen you'll need to repeat all the steps to create it again.I downloaded that shortcutmaker so I was able to do all that but I can't figure out how to get it to show in my app drawer for future use.
Some activities don't have shortcuts for a reason. My Avast Mobile Security & Antivirus removes it's shortcut after setup, and is then only accessable by dialing my security pin in my phone. There is an option in QuickShortcutMaker to create a shortcut, but it does say that it may not work for all apps.I downloaded that shortcutmaker so I was able to do all that but I can't figure out how to get it to show in my app drawer for future use.
