Can't find public wifi after changing static IP

[Android Central Question]

Afterr a while of bad signal from my college public wifi I tried changing the static IP - no success. After changing from Static IP to DHCP it completely vanished from the list of available wifis. Without being connected to it already I can't seem to revert this back to static IP, any suggestions on fixing this issue?
