Cant get bbc iPlayer or itv hub on my new S6 tablet

Hi folks. I have a new Samsung S6 tab and it won't let me download the above apps from the play store, keep getting the message either 'this app is no longer compatible with your device' or 'your device isn't compatible with this version. It's running Android ten (they recommend 5 or above). Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to Android Central! I moved this to the Tab S6 forum for more specific traffic.

There may be other reasons besides the Android version. There could be some subtle issues with the hardware or firmware that make it incompatible. Send feedback to the developer and ask them about it.

Sorry, forgot to add, I'm in Greece and I'm trying to get the apps through a VPN.. could this be the problem? The VPN and apps worked on a previous iPad though..

I'd say that's most likely the problem. Can you vary the VPN server you're using? If so, try routing through another country.
