Cant get rid of notification badge in Nova

Im using Nova and since yesterday, I cannot get rid of my notification badge on my phone icon. I know this isnt Pixel specific, but Im hoping other Nova users in here can help. Mods, move it somewhere else if you feel necessary.

Anyone know how to clear the notification badge? Ive already opened the app, scrolled through all my calls etc. Rebooted the phone a couple times.

Good questions. Im using the numeric bubble. Im also using the old tesla plugin....didnt realize it was now included in Nova. When did that happen?

EDIT: Just went in and chose "numeric dots" style instead of "tesla unread" and they went away. Many thanks!!!!

They included it with version 6.1 a while ago. Tesla Unread has been pretty much abandoned so I'd recommend you to disable it in Nova settings, use the new option and then see what happens. I uninstalled the plugin after that update.

I don't think there's such an option from Nova but you can try this, go to settings - apps & notifications - select an app - notifications - advanced - uncheck 'allow notification dot'.
