first make sure you get a custom kernel ready on your sdcard, then relfash cwm , boot directly into red cwm , then flash the custome kernel before you reboot

sorry im not to bright to this..ive rooted a htc eris and romd it but that was a cakewalk..this is a lil more diffcult

this is just as easy once you get the hang of it,,, i gave you a custom kernel, non voodoo. Lets get you with cwm sticking first and basic roms and then you can worry about voodoo

ok do i need to wipe data and all that good stuff before flashing this?

flashing a kernel doesnt really need a wipe you should be find without wiping

Paul bro hug for you to...u wa a huge help also..now ive done 2 nandroid backups but dont know which one has my new kernel if something was to go wrong in the future..anyway to rename them or figure out which is which? id also like to load a rom..and find out what voodoo is..i may b getting ahead of myself
