Question Can't install unknown apps

When I go to allow Chrome and files by Google to install unknown apps it says disabled.

I'm using a pixel 7 (not pro) and I'm currently on the 14 beta...

My dad is using the same phone, is on beta too, and it works for him, as well as my brother.

Check if you have anything enabled in Device Administrator?

Just family link parental controls but he allowed the setting for installing unknown apps. We checked with my brother and it works for him but not me.

There was avast but I uninstalled it.

Maybe, my dad doesn't want me to factory reset, I might just wait until the new update and see if it works, if it doesn't I'll report and issue.

Yeah I would wait until next beta release, report it now so they can be aware that's what beta testing for , I know it awesome to get new Android version and test it out but report these things as you go.

Apparently, it was a duplicate report so the issue was already reported
