Can't overclock in SetCPU after using dalingrin 22311 kernel

Ive installed the kernel successfully after clearing both caches in clockwork recovery but when I go to change the speeds in SetCPU the max speed is 528mhz, same as before. What am I missing? Is the kernel update just not taking? How can I be sure the kernel installed correctly?

Figured it out. I needed to go to device selection and select the bottom option.
