Can't purchase watch faces for Gear S2 Classic on Note 7 (worked fine on Note 5)

Wondering if anyone else has this issue. I bought the S2 Classic when it went on sale (2 weeks ago?). Worked fine with my Note 5. I purchased a few watch faces via the Note 5 using the Samsung Gear app. After getting my Note 7 this week, I set everything up, all seems to be working fine. Except I cannot purchase a watch face. I can download all the free ones I want, but purchasing gives the the error in the pics below (the last 5 numbers change with each attempt).

I unpaired the watch with the N7, set it to factory defaults, paired with the N5 again, and it works. Unpaired from the N5, cleared the cache and data from the Gear app on the N7, paired it to the N7 again, and exactly the same thing. I've called Samsung a few times. Opened a ticket at https://help.content.samsung.com/csweb/ticket/searchTicketList.do. Considered calling VZW, it's a Samsung app so I didn't bother.

I've gotten errors for themes. Developer said because Samsung hasn't released it for the note 7 yet, which they specifically released that theme for the note 7. That could be it, don't know
 
Thanks, but it still works using my Note 5 :/ Don't often have to fight someone to take my money!
 
I have the same issue except it asks for payment info, I supply it and it looks like it will download and then goes back to where I can buy it again. Never downloads anything. I can "buy" the free watchfaces and apps and download but nothing requiring payment and I have tried multiple non-free watch faces and anything requiring payment does not work. Tried multiple credit cards and no luck. Tried light reset, no luck. Kinda frustrating as the stock watch faces are a bit dull and not what I need.

Now that I changed to the Note 7 I can't find half of the watch faces that I purchased.

How can I find the watch faces that I purchased in the past?

What happens to you is what happens if I choose my stored credit card. The pics above are from when I choose PayPal. BOTH payment methods work if I go back to the Note 5.

I can't do a screenshot right now, but go to Galaxy Apps > My apps > Receipt > Apps (tab)

I couldn't download them from that list, but if I go back to search watch faces and put in those descriptions they show as paid, and it allows me to re-download them from there.
 
I have Verizon and I had the same experience trying to buy a watchface plus all of the tag heuer faces have disappeared as well! I did call Samsung and they took my email address and said they would send me an email when the issue is fixed.

The only way to stop it is to set your ringtone on the Note 7 itself to silent. It has to be the ringtone on the phone. Unfortunately if you do that your Note won't ring when you want it to unless you change the ringtone to something else. They need to fix the issues with the new software on the note.
 
Add me to the list with the problem except I have a gear fit 2 instead of the s2. I also have Verizon. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
 
Same deal with my new Note 7 and Fit 2. I am beyond frustrated. I can download the free watch faces. But I cannot purchase the paid one's.

Who should I email so that I get the notification when there is a fix?

P.S. I too am on Verizon

Finally can give Samsung my money! Decided to look around the Galaxy Apps Store app a bit, and found the "Unknown sources" setting, which was turned off. Turned it on and can now purchase watch faces. Would have been nice if the purchase process gave you the prompt like the normal side loading process does. Just remember tho, these are the settings WITHIN the Galaxy Apps app itself, not on the phone's application manager settings. See pics:

I'd guess it's because anything not from the Play store is recognized as a unknown source. I don't need any paid faces on my S2 right now but I was able to download some free faces with mine - also on VZW. Mine is still set to off for unknown sources in the Gear app.
