Can't reinstall CityID-D2

Just rooted my Droid 2 using z4root. I uninstalled a bunch of the bloatware, then found out I wouldn't be able to update the phone. I reinstalled all of the other bloatware. However, City ID says "Application not installed." I searched the forums and couldn't find this particular issue. I made sure the permissions were user read/write, group read, and others read. I also tried installing it in Astro and came up with the same problem as I did in root explorer. Any help in getting this to install would be greatly appreciated.

same issue here i was able to reinstall skype and vznav on my fascinate but not the city id, im attempting to the system update again hopefully it wont care about city id
