Can't send gifs in textra

Hi folks what's the message app of choice? Textra is not working for mms.

Did you by chance do the Textra update a day or so ago. I did, and texted screwed up the "X" where you can select pictures, camera, schedule messages again.

The "+" symbol isn't working for me and others now. I've emailed them and their response was putting blame on other apps. Funny thing, it was broken a few months ago, fixed on a Textra update finally, and last update broke it again. I'm currently looking for a decent texting app and all the "+" buttons work just fine with no changes to any other apps, so I strongly feel this is a Textra issue.

This sucks, because Textra is one of the best texting apps out there.

Are you using the "+" button. According to Textra not everyone will. I shared the list they have that interferes. For me it's edge gestures, once I disabled edge gestures it works fine. The thing is, I know it works together because they were until this last update.

But it's important to know that not everyone will have issues.

I can not send a picture attachment using Textra or Chomp, it just sits there trying to send. I have to swap back to the Samsung messaging app to send pictures, not a file size problem either, I tried it with a 450mb small simple picture also, same problem. Not sure if it's a problem with the Note 9, AT&T, or using a third party app. Also both Chomp and Textra send pictures on my work phone, an LG V20, without a problem.
