Can't send tweets while using Data

Hi,

I just got a brand new Galaxy S 5. The phone is on Sprint's service. It seems that I'm unable to send tweets when I'm connected to Sprint's network. It immediately gives me the message "failed to send tweet". I can send them fine when I am connected to WiFi. This is also not just in the Twitter app. If I physically go to Twitter.com and try to post while on the Sprint Network, it won't work either.

Also, I have no issues browsing the internet, refreshing my twitter feed, or posting on facebook while I'm connected to the Sprint Network . Does anyone know of a setting or fix to this? Like I said, the phone is litterally 1 day old.

Thanks!

That new and having this issue seems odd. Usually when you have issues like this it's because your caches are full or you have a ton of memory being used up by SMS, MMS, or Facebook. I would say that the device probably updated and something went wrong with the update for Twitter. Uninstall the update, restart the phone and update it again. You might be able to get away with just restarting the phone but if that doesn't work I'd go the uninstall, reinstall route. I don't know of any carrier that blocks or prevents use of preinstalled apps.

Thanks for the reply but no luck. I've restarted and uninstalled a bunch of times but the results are the same. (Immediately saying "failed to send tweet". It is very odd and seems to be limited only to twitter as other apps let me post/upload.

I should also add that I can't tweet if i physically go to twitter.com in my web browser unless I am connected to wifi. It isn't just the app.

Ok now that's just weird. Pre installed app? Browser only works on Wi-Fi? Factory reset and nothing disabled in your apps? Ok this is a long shot but are you the account holder for your plan? Could it be blocked in your account settings? Like a parental setting on the account. Family Base for Verizon, for example.
