Can't turn off lock screen on my Note 4

I forgot my screen lock password, Clear credentials is grayed, lock screen does not give me any option. everything that you all mentioned did not worked.
I have not perform the factory reset as I do not want to erase all my pics and apps... PLEASE HELP I AM DESPERATE

Go to the Samsung Find My Mobile site and log in with your Samsung account. Then you can unlock the phone and it should wipe out your screen lock settings.

I have a galaxy 4, so I wasn't sure this would work, but it did. You have to go into "settings" hit "security", go down to "credential storage". You will then see "Clear credentials", click on that and click ok. All done! Thank you for leading me in the right direction
