cant unlock via powerbutton?

ive used always on display apps (because my phone samsung a40 is missing that feature) without problem but suddenly today its not possible to enter lockscreen via powerbutton. those apps somehow override the lockscreen. i have to double tap to enter lockscreen.



anyone have a clue how to enter lockscreen via power button?



if i disable always on display app problem gets solved.



i even did a factory reset that didnt help.

I think you found your answer. Did the app recently receive an update? Have you checked in settings for the app? Maybe the developer could help if you contact them?

Not knowing what app you're using, people that might be using the same app won't know to chime in and help you.
