Yeah... I was sooo EAGER to get my root done I completely skipped the second step where you go through the bootloader again and get the recovery stuff installed for flashing. DOH.

I'm running Virus Rom right now and it's snappy as can be.

Heres my question. I made a backup of the Virus after I installed it and then I restored my stock rom through rom manager in the Virus rom... just to make sure I could switch back and forth. Then from the stock rom I booted back up the virus rom through restore in rom manager.

Is it okay to do it this way? It runs fine and I don't notice any weird differences.

As long as it's flashing fine and running ok you have nothing to worry about you are doing fine. You will know when something is going wrong.
