My non-exploding Note 7 was the best smartphone I have ever owned.

I can't wait for my new Black Note 8. The unbelievable display with minimal bezels will be the best display in the business. The powerful Qualcomm snapdragon 835 chip, and the amazing market leading new camera will be an unbeatable combination.

Battery life at 3300 mAh does not concern me at all - always easy to find a fast charge just about anywhere. I also use the sleek Samsung fast external charger, which is smaller than the phone itself. And the FPS on the back of the phone presents no problem......... for my big manly hands........

This will be a new toy for a long time, until it just becomes my daily smartphone

Come on Note 8 - hurry up!!

Now there's a Samsung Marketing Tool if I ever heard one... but I agree! Get on with it!

Yeah! I'm pretty stoked. I currently have an S8 Plus but am going to most likely move to the Note 8. It's going to be a beast if the rumors are true. My only concern is the screen retention that has shown up in some of the S8's and S8 Plus. Hopefully Samsung will have that solved. Still can't wait for it.

I am with y'all. I hated giving up my Note 7. Looking forward to the Note 8...

All I had to pay was taxes
What carrier. Tmobile here. And when I got the Note 8 I will use J.O.D. from a G6. Our S8+ through T-Mobile the down not was 139 I think and that's the hogh credit class too, that I'm in

Verizon. Idk maybe it because I've been with them since 2012 and bill paid on time most of the time lol. Not saying your bill ain't paid on time. Lol. Haven't paid a deposit since I first joined. That was $125 and got it back around a year later. I do their monthly phone payment agreement thing. Whatever verizon calls it. So they tell me all I got to pay is taxes. First phone payment be on next month's bill. I'm sure it will be the same for me for note 8. Do you pay down payment every time u upgrade or add a line? I got 4 lines and no deposit and I got bad credit lol.

No down on the 7 edge. Then the 8+ was I think the 130. No down on certified used stuff. G6 is no down.

Hmm thats wierd. Course Idk how T-Mobile works so I can't really comment on them. I've just never had a deposit before when I upgrade. All phones I've gotten so far from verizon are Motorola droid maxx, another Motorola phone can't remember actual name, note 5, s6 edge plus, note7, lg v20, iPhone 7 plus and next the note 8.

It's not going to be enjoyable I know that. I'm guessing the Note 8 is priced at $950 which would be $230 down payment to get payments down to the magical $30/month that TMobile loves to use.

I'm hoping for a lower price but not holding my breath. Hope it comes with some good freebies to sell off and recoup some cash.

Mine was zero down on T-mobile. Sadly, those days may be over as they continuously change the language for JOD. The 64gb will be the base model though. I just know they'll change to a down payment be caused they can. They won't getting as many sales. But, they won't lose as much for each sale either.

The Note7 was $35 per month. I will not pay a big down payment on a leased phone. I am thinking $80 down and $35 per month. Should be zero down. But, they'll back peddle and change the terms again per usual.

The Note 7 was also the first forced down payment on JoD and came with tremendous backlash. With the S8+ they targeted the down payment ($130) to get to $30 monthly payment saying it makes it more affordable for the customer than $37/month. Yeah Tmobile, a customer buying or leasing a $850 phone is gonna blow their monthly budget over $7.
