Card was just charged!

Anyone order on the 12th get any news yet I had ship date of the 9th bet mine will be a little back.

Credit card company fraud department denied the charge and never notified me nor did Verizon follow up. Well, there goes my getting up at 4am PST on June 6 and my July 5-6 delivery. I am pissed!

Was it an Am Ex? I posted a few hours ago that happened to me to. I received an email notification from Verizon to call them for a payment issue and was able to change my credit card with them and have them process my payment while I waited - all before Am Ex notified me they have denied the charge and I had to contact them.

Credit card is with Citibank. Just received this email from verizon about 15 minutes ago.

I am on the phone with Verizon trying to get the charge put through again. Well, they have no way to push the charge through and have two choice; 1) let the system get around to charging again 2) cancel the order and place a new one. Obviously item 2 isn't acceptable so I am basically screwed and waiting for Verizon to get around to charging me again and shipping it out. What a damn disaster!!

Verizon Preorder Status now shows:
We received your order and it is in process. Payment not taken yet. Expected Ship Date: 07/11/2012

That's the exact same message I received. Then a half hour later I received one saying they couldn't process my payment. Meanwhile I called (like you are) and was told Am Ex was denying the charge, probably due to a fraud alert. Stay on the phone!

My order is now being processed. I also used AmEx. Keeping my fingers crossed now. The charge is showing up in pending charges, though, so that's a good sign I think.

Well, my card was process at 5pm after I had the credit card changed, but I have not received a shipping notification yet (or ANY email). So I called about around 7pm and was told the shipping time cut off is 4:30 pm and mine should go out Thursday. Fingers crossed.

Damn the holiday! ;) Probably won't see delivery until Monday then (which coincidentally just happens to be the 9th)...
 
My order left PA fed ex facility 2 hours ago. its on the truck rollin. I'm tracking it thru my package tracker pro app. Its in transit. Hoping for a Thursday delivery which I'll miss. But will put it on hold for a Friday afternoon Fed ex pick up. :cool:
 
Blarg. I ordered at 7:30 EST on 6/6 and have been showing a ship by date of 7/9 for weeks, but it just updated to say" ship by 7/11." Did they run out of the white 32g already?
 
Is this a good or bad thing it just changed from processing to this.

Ordered the blue 32 Gb model early 6/6 but have received no emails and no CC activity.
After reading about the problems others were having with Amex I called them and had a note placed on the account authorizing a charge from Verizon or Telephony Equipment. Hopefully this will avoid the issue with the declined charge due to a fraud alert.

No, I was told one day delivery due to where I live. so I was told I'd get it on Friday by 3pm.

Hopefully! Sound like Amex screwed up a bunch of peoples orders. Thanks, Am Ex. But part of the problem is the charge went through funny. It didn't say 'Verizon' on it. (at least on the one Am Ex declined).

That's what mine changed to after they charged my credit card.

Not sure if they did that for everyone or people whose orders shipped.

Ok because two things have me worried I never got a email at first and I used my dad's cc so I have no clue if the cc was charged because he's at the beach.
