Carrier Apps Suddenly Appeared on Unlocked Phone

I bought my pixel 3 through the google store when it first came out, and suddenly, out of nowhere, today there were several carrier (T-Mobile) apps installed on my phone (including the device unlock app). Fortunately, they uninstalled pretty easily, but I am concerned that they might come back.

Hi , possible it carried over from other phones that had tmobile unlocked app.
