I think it's bull that we still deal with preloaded apps and carrier branding on Samsung phones. Samsung has enough pull now, like apple to tell them to [removed] off.
Samsung doesn't have the market share in the USA.
Yes it is a serious post. Samsung has the international market share, in the USA, Apple still has the market share. Is this a serious post? Samsung doesn't have the market share to tell a wireless company they can't preload a phone with junk?

I don't understand... what has changed that makes you think they wouldn't still do it? They all do it, so there is not competitive advantage to NOT doing it. The stuff us easy to get rid of, and they are not sneaky about it. the thing isn't even out yet and you know it will be there. Its a lot of aggravation about nothing... at least nothing we can change.
Samsung has Samsung apps. Apple have Apple apps. No different.
You clearly are not understanding me, I am talking about carrier bloat.. You know, AT&T puts about 10 or more junk apps into the phone. I am not talking about Samsung's preloaded apps. Years ago people were on here saying how Android manufactures don't have enough pull like apple to not let carriers ruin phones, Samsung has that pull now.
It is a sticker... You can remove the glass back and peel off the sticker and replace it with what you want... Though I wouldn't recommend this unless you are technically inclined. No it's not, dont give me the car dealer example. Car dealer is not stamping or itching a logo on the car that can't be removed. Verizon or AT&T is not manufacturing the phone so no reason they should be stamping their logo on the product. Sure put a sticker or something that one can remove if they don't like. All they are doing is put a bunch of crap pre loaded and minor modifications on the phone that OEMs do on behalf of carrier. It's not like Verizon has forked Android and have their own version. Sure make your own hardware and stamp whatever you want on that.
I get that it's marketing and they market/sell the phone but that doesn't justify it. Sure answer is if you don't like buy something else. That's cool because I do that exactly.
Exactly, but it is the time of year for it. This convo is repeated every year at release date.
This.I'm in the "if you hate the carrier branding, find a new carrier" camp.

Lol I highly doubt anyone pays that much attentionI like the Verizon brand on the back, that lets everybody know I have the best carrier.
I wouldn't remove the bar and shield my Harley
Or just wait for the unlocked model.I'm in the "if you hate the carrier branding, find a new carrier" camp.
