Cased or Not?

I would definitely recommend a case if you're klutz like me. It really only took one drop without a case to completely destroy my screen on my last phone!

Plus it gives you a little more grip when you're carrying the phone.

I'm using RhinoShield [CrashGuard] Heavy Duty 11 ft Drop Protection [High Durability] Thin Lightweight Protective Bumper - Perfect w/ Skin [Great for NFC and Wireless Charger] -

Tried others, one protected so well the phone could not cool itself down. And I now disable fast-charge mode too.

Bumper makes super easy to hold.

In 6 years of using Android smartphones, I have never ever dropped a phone period. Though I have had cases for most my phones, I have mostly not used them. I hate cases, even the slim ones. I am always aware of where my phone is and always have a strong grip. I have a firm grip on my S7 naked and does not feel slick at all. However, it is the most beautiful and fragile phone I have owned. I have kept it in its case more than any other phone I have used. 1 drop and it will be damaged. 6 years is a good run but one day it will happen.

OMG...I've probably dropped my phone 100's of times in that time frame LOL. I'm much too busy to pay attention to a device, my thin case saves me but I'm like you, I hate them.
