Nice find! I don't know how much protection that it will actually give, but I ordered one anyway because it looks so cool...maybe I'll use it as my "At Home" case!

Thanks for the link. Picked up a black one. Was going to go with a Case Mate Barely There but for $10 less, this seems to fit the bill. Also like that the inside of the case is lined with leather.

I just ordered the Rearth Ringke Slim Lite ($14 w/free shipping), looks kind of similar to the Rock one that has been mentioned on here, but it is a "soft touch" finish. The dimensions are onthe website and it looks to be very minimal, but provide decent protection. I will know when I receive it... I also ordered the screen protector they have, it looks to be similar to the SGP Ultra/Oleo, and it is oleophopic as well.

Is anyone concerned that the harder cases like the Rock, Case Mate Barely There, and Incipio Feather leave the top and bottom bezel exposed? It looks like the only harder cases that cover the entire bezel are the 2 piece types like Seidio Surface.

I think I'm going to go with a Vaja case. Yes, extremely expensive, but well worth it.

This is exactly what I have been looking for. I want a real leather case, but "real" leather seems hard to come by. Anybody have any other examples? The only other one I've seen is Noreve.

A little expensive, however I want to show off the whole phone but still keep it protected.. if it falls on a flat surface, the "bumper" will stop it.. Curious to see how it is once it arrives and I slip it onto my phone June 20th

That does not have any holes for the microphones on the top and bottom.

Those are very nice cases however I don't understand why they didn't protect the top or the bottom. Also their past models have done better with the volume and power cutouts.

But the price is fantastic. They will raise it to $25.99 once it comes out.

Even if it's not your final case it might be worth having for that price.

1) Never buy directly from Hong Kong unless it's under $5.

2) It doesn't show the noise cancelling microphones. How they could manufacture that without those is beyond me.

3) You overpaid - cases like that cost about $10. I'd prefer a case that was one piece rather than two pieces also.

Can you cancel the transaction?

Kinda my thinking! Hoping it is my final case, but if not, within a month or two, I figure there will be a slew of new/other options that aren't on the market quite yet. And for now, it is a reasonable case (and price) to have when I get my SGS3.

SSH--given your familiararity with so many cases -- do these aluminum bumper cases actually absorb shock? From the pictures, i can see that the front/back faces would be lifted so rubbing across surfaces won't matter, but are those little black gromets on the inside the case made of foam? rubber? Some sort of impact absorbing material?

No, not yet. They usually cost about $30. Very good case though.

Yeah thats too much for what I need right now. I will spend the money on the active x though. A nice TPU case will do until then but I need to find one.
