Cases, cases and more cases!!

I ended up doing this I-blason one someone posted earlier in this thread. I know I like them cuz my last three cases were from them and were Cosmo cases. But it was cheaper to buy from them directly and I got 25% off healthcare discount plus 4% Ratuken. Now I got to find a cute popsocket and I hope the phone looks cute in that case. When I was in Best buy today they said all they had was their own insignia brand cases right now they didn't have anything else no screen protectors yet.

Whenever I upload from phone it's sideways

Has anyone ever used the Samsung leather cases? I'm not looking for protection as I am nice. I only use a skin for my fold 4. Thanks

On initial inspection, and please note that I have not installed/used on a phone yet, I can tell you there are a few differences...

I'll post Pics for items I feel need them to help with comparison (will add (pic) to the line item)

CaseBorne:

1. It is a 2-part case. Inner plastic "ring" that goes around the device, then you install into the rugged outer rubberized case.
2. The feel of the case is actually pretty nice. It's nice to hold and adds some bulk (which rugged cases tend to do), but is not so big that it's uncomfortable. Please keep in mind that I am also 6'5" tall and have big hands (I can palm a Basketball with ease), so the size may not fit as well for everyone as it does me. :)
3. The Kickstand is secure when closed. To lock it open, you have to take an extra action of puling the back support arm down to lock it, which means you have to push up a little to unlock to close the kickstand. (pic) - https://imgur.com/J5ZlxHl
4. Kickstand does not feel too flimsy and seem like it will last.
5. When closed, the kickstand does not stick out in any way, so pretty flush with the case.
6. All kickstand pivot points are hinged, so no folding plastic to wear off and break.
7. If you look in the picture, the Orange backing is foam, so added protection there (previous post of mine).
8. The USB-C charging port has a cover which protects the port, which is great as I almost NEVER use the port and charge wirelessly.
9. Case back is raised on the edges to keep from teetering when laid down, this also protects the cameras

Unicorn Beetle:

1. Single piece case with rubberized sides.
2. Same as above
3. Kickstand on this case is more useful other than as a kickstand as it folds in the middle and can be used as an additional grip by sliding your finger in the kickstand opening to hold the phone. (pic) - https://imgur.com/iLzLfhu
3. Kickstand is secure when closed. Easy open, close.
4. Middle Hinge allows for sturdier overall feel of the kickstand.
5. Easy to close with one hand when done with it (if using as a grip).
6. When closed, the kickstand does not stick out in any way, so pretty flush with the case.
7. USB-C port is open with no cover.
8. Case back has "feet" on the corners to level the phone when it is set down, these are pretty small and don't impact using/holding the phone.

Overall, I like BOTH cases, so you can't go wrong either way, but I will try them BOTH for a few days, but after initial inspection of both cases, I am leaning to the CaseBorne case for the added protection it gives as well as the USB Port being covered.

The ONLY thing that would make me want to use the Unicorn Beetle case is the kickstand. I like how I can use the kickstand with my finger to add something extra to help hold the phone, but, I will admit, I would probably VERY RARELY use it like this as my fingers are a little big as well (pic) - https://imgur.com/LQeBQWw

Of course, I am saying all of this BEFORE I even have a phone to put in the cases to see how they feel once they are on the phone. I will update as I get my phone (looks like TOMORROW), and let everyone know what I find after.

Oh, yes, that IS a Tardis on my wedding ring. Wife has a matching ring... :D

Love your wedding band! So cool!

I have. I've ordered 1 for the 23. I like them. They fit perfectly and aren't bulky at all.

Hi preordered a purple s23 ultra. Considering a casetify case. Has anyone had any experiences with them? TIA

My new go to case is the URBAN ARMOR GEAR UAG Kevlar.

On a side note _ I also fit a dbrand skin on the back of the phone.
Not too happy they've discontinued the Black Dragon option however!

I keep getting ads for them did last year also but never had one I think it was like $72 when I saw one earlier. I liked the looks of it but don't know how good they are. I've been wanting to try velvet caviar but never had one and all used to my I Blason hah it in my s10 plus 21 and 22 so I got the same brand again.

I like UAG, but I can't bring myself to pay $100 for that case. I'm debating on buying the pylo ash color I think. Mainly to show off the color. The ash color gives some color to offset the clear back, I don't want 100% clear.

SopiGuard has been my skin go-to for years. They still have the Black Dragon skin. Also cheaper than the other skin companies and usually ship faster.

Anyone use Mous cases? How did you like them? I primarily look for clear and not too bulky kind of cases. Also need to be WSD compatible.

Been using a Mous case on my S21U for a year or more... They seem very durable, but are also very bulky, although that may be a bit different now and I've never used a Clarity so that may be thinner. Had no problems using a Whitestone protector with it.

The MagSafe Clarity is on my short list for my first new case as well. My main issue with Mous is that they are another Apple first company... I understand it, but I would really like a detachable folio cover, and chances are they arent going to make one.

Thank you! Their magsafe case is what got me curious. I am also considering it. I already received my Caseology Skyfall and Rinke Fusion for my S23U along with the WSD. I just need to do a quick fit test on the case with the glass.

So I received my 3 new cases for the S23 Ultra and they ALL fit my S22 Ultra perfectly. I thought that was not supposed to be the case?

Plot twist. Those are labeled S23U, but they're actually for S22U. (Kidding...kinda)

The S23 camera rings are larger, button placement is lower and I forget what else. Maybe the mic holes are different? My S23U case FITS the S22U, but the holes are off.

Several S23U cases can fit an S22U, but my wife has an S22U and out of the 2 cases I have and the CaseBorne case fits, well, so does the Unicorn Beetle, but the Beetle case mashes the Volume Up button as the other does not, but they work for the most part, but I would not suggest it. The button placements are a little different. When my S23U arrives today, I will take a side-by-side comparison to show the differences here (unless someone else can get it before I can).

I thought about this case as I used to love CaseMate but wasn't sure how it would love on the Cream S23U. Ended up reordering some Burga cases I already had for the N20U I'm trading in and also a Velvet Caviar White Croc which looks great in photos for a classy mono chromatic look.
