Cases for Mytouch 3G Slide?

My wife and I both have Slides and wanted to get some protection for them. She always had an Otterbox case on her Blackberry because it took tumbles quite often. I was thinking of getting her an Invisible Shield case but I don't think that would really help for drops. I bought a snap on case on ebay but found that the clips separated the two pieces of the phone and it didn't slide well. The top piece doesn't even fit. Does anyone have any good cases? I'm thinking she might like a pouch but she would probably lose something that isn't attached.

Thanks.

In the same boat as you, the lack of cases from the few companies that make good ones is really disappointing, I had used Seidio Innocase for my Blackberry and loved it, but at this time they are not making anything for the Slide either.

I as well got a case from ebay and it didn't fit right. I had to take sand paper and sand down the top of each cover for it to even slide without putting scratches of paint on my keyboard. I ended up taking it off. I don't see why there aren't any nice cases for the Slide. All the other phones have come out with quality cases but us? NONE! T-Mobile stores have a few but they are too bulky and not my type. Maybe one day we will get something worth buying.

I wonder how bulky the body glove one is, anyone have one and can post pics or chime in?

I saw a body glove case at a Tmobile store here in Seattle. It fit snug and the phone slid open nice. My cheapness doesn't allow me to spend 35 on a case, although I am rubbing the back of my phone setting it down. I might go with the Motorola Charm (loved my BB), root it and tether to an Android tablet if they come out at a decent price this year. What we need is a high res version of the charm (screen like a BB Bold or 8900).

I bought a slim case from one of those carts at the mall, it's black and seems metal but has a rubber feel to it. Not bad, however, at the points where it connects to the phone is rubbing off due to the sliding, but its actually not bad, I'll try to post pics later.
