Cases for Pixel 3

Pixel 3 - 64 GB - Black - Spiegen Google Pixel 3 Case Tough Armor - Rose Gold.
Only had phone and case for 24 hours, but so far both are keepers.

I do the same thing with every phone. I buy too many cases, fall in love with one and never use the others.
I bought for my 3xl, in this order, spigen thin fit, google fabric, caseology waterfall (for like $1.20), bellroy leather, and the simply carbon fiber case (which I have 2 of as the first one had a hairline scratch).
Until yesterday, I've been running with the scf since I received it.
It's a freaking awesome case that I highly recommend.
I felt a little guilty yesterday so I switched to the bellroy and it's very nice. Feels good, has a decent lip and the overall fit is good. I'll give it a couple of days and then I'm switching to the fabric, which I already know is terrific. Again, fit feel and finish are just great. Had the fabric for my 2xl too and the new one is even better.
My point is that I'll inevitably go back to scf and will probably use that the most by far.
I'll sprinkle in the fabric and bellroy and will probably never again use the spigen or caseology.
Such a waste from a guy who is not usually wasteful. I'm the one who always eats all the leftovers at home as I hate to throw out food. Lmao!!
Anyway, I hope everyone has found their go to case/cases and is enjoying the pixel 3xl experience as much as I am.

I received my 64GB Not Pink Pixel 3 yesterday. I am waiting for my Spigen Case Slim Armor Crystal - Clear to be delivered. I picked up the Caseology waterfall and screen protector on sale. Using Caseoloy for now.

I took advantage of Speck special prices.... $31 I can deal with vs 45. Waiting on delivery now.

Re: Best Cases for Pixel 3

Does this case come up over the front glass? I have already broken 2 screen protectors with the Google cloth case . It just comes to the edge and the screen protectors sit above it.

I won't buy any Google case because of this. It's a shame, because they are otherwise nice looking and feeling cases.

I like sparkles but the prices on some of these cases is insane. I ended up getting the Spigen Rugged Armor case. Has good coverage yet is not bulky at all. If I see something pretty at a good price I might switch but I am happy with the Rugged Armor.

I love the fabric case, and ordered one of those ultra thin tottallee (or whatever) cases. I really like the look of the leather, how bulky is the bellroy? Is about the same as the fabric? I never ended up getting one for my 2xl cause I heard the buttons sucked but this looks better. Thanks in advance

The bellroy is great. I just got finished using it for the past week and replaced it with my fog fabric case. I'd say they are about the same thickness and the leather feels great. The lip on the fabric has been talked about and how some people feel it is too small. I don't use a screen protector so the lip is fine for me on the fabric case. The lip on the bellroy is a little bigger and is probably much better if you use a screen protector.
I definitely recommend the bellroy. The buttons are clicky too. Really, no problems at all and it looks and feels great.

Anyone have a white Pixel 3 in the carbon (black) Google fabric case? If so, can you post some pics of the back? I want to see how the white phone + black case combo looks before I order.

Would greatly appreciate it!

I bought the fog fabric case for my white 3 XL. It looks so amazing. Everytime I look at it I just can't help to pick the phone up. I really didn't want to spend $40 on a case when the phone was pretty much free from Fi's promo, but it is worth it.

Just got in the Bellroy case (Caramel) for the 3 XL. The leather is quite soft, which feels fantastic, but does beg the question how well it will hold up over time, particularly along the corners and over the buttons (resisting peel, cracking). The case is very light, slim, and retains a good 'clicky' feel for the buttons while providing properly spaced cutouts as needed for ports and sensors.

I'm using this with the Whitestone Dome SP. The lip of the case meets to the edge of the SP almost perfectly, and is deeper as well to help minimize glass contact when face down on a table (though it's such a minimal amount (about 1/32") that any debris on a table would likely still contact the SP.

All-in-all, delighted with the case, and hoping it holds up/looking forward to its developing a nice patina.

I almost got the caramel, but got the black instead. I've been alternating weekly between the Bellroy, fabric and simply carbon fiber cases. I really like all 3 and, since I'm switching weekly, they should all stay in excellent condition.
Good luck with yours.

Based on a lot of positive comments here and elsewhere I got the Google Fog case. It looks nice and has a good in-hand feel, but I was shocked that this $40 case is basically cardboard. I was expecting something more solid underneath the cloth. The cardboard construction plus the very small lip frankly offers less protection than I want, which is frustrating (and offensive) at this price point, especially since I otherwise like the look/feel of the case.

I just received this one. I am so impressed with the leatherwork, fit and features.

You can get the Kezihome leather wallet case on Amazon or if your frugal and can wait, order from AliEpress. All in cost was $18 including shipping from China. Took almost 3 weeks to get here. Amazing price for an amazing real leather case. Has a magnet in the flap which keeps the flap attached to the rear when folded back.

Works with the Pixel wireless charging stand and the squeeze for Google Assistant.

The fabric case is not cardboard inside. It is supposed to be polycarbonate shell covered with fabric. There is a microfabric back where it touches the phone's glass back.

Perhaps so - I didn't tear the thing apart to confirm. If there's a polycarbonate shell underneath it's very thin and flexible (i guess to support wireless charging), though the sides are firmer and do hold the phone snug. The effect of the cloth outside and microfabric inside make the case back seem very insubstantial.

So I've been alternating between my 3 faves: Bellroy leather, google fabric and scf, and I have to say that I made really good choices with this phone.
All 3 cases are great and completely different from each other.
The google fabric may be my favorite as it's light, thin and feels great but the scf is right there with it. It also feels and especially looks great while having terrific grip.
The Bellroy is probably my 3rd choice but it is also so nice and the leather is a pretty nice feel.
I've received compliments on all 3 and anyone still looking for cases should seriously look at any of these.
