Cases for the HTC One

I have some cases for the One I'd like to get rid of. If your interested, PM me. All cases are basically brand new and perfect condition and include original packaging.

Incipio DualPro Carbon
Seidio Active (Red)
Incipio DualPro (Grey/Neon Yellow)

Rob

Why are you selling them? Is something wrong with them? How much are you asking

Are some cases more likely than others to impair signal reception? Would a case help with the WiFi grip of death?

I do want a case for when I inevitably drop the phone. I find the one to be slippery at times. It is a rare occasion but happens every once in a while. I had a sedio active on my evo 3d that served me well and tried an Otterbox defender on the one but it is too bulky.

I've found that the Incipio DualPro Shine has a noticeable impact on signal reception. I didn't try Wifi but I noticed it with normal 1x reception and 4g (I'm on Sprint). Without the case it was back to normal and quite an improvement. No other case I've tried has had any impact on reception.

I tried the Commuter and found that to be a little too bulky as well, although it was a good case and made it feel like a tank.

Nothing wrong with them at all. Just couldn't decide on a case so I got several lol (Going to keep the UAG, Otterbox Commuter, and the black Incipio DualPro ) . Price, ehh $10 shipped i suppose? ( USA only ).

Why did you just get the DualPro Carbon if the DualPro Shine gave you issues? They are exactly the same just a different pattern.

Well #1 I already had the carbon fiber one on order and #2 I had only read about reception issues for the Shine. I was 100% expecting the same reception issues with the carbon fiber and was going to send it back cuz like you I figured they were the same case. But when I tried it there were no reception issues at all, to my surprise. Why, I have no clue. I also noticed in reviews for other phones that the Shine consistently had reception issues but nothing was mentioned for the Carbon Fiber. Weird.

Ahh, interesting. Glad it worked out! Love the CF case, just wish it had a little bit more protection.

Does anyone know if there is a bookbook style case for the htc one...has an elastic that binds around it? Please let me know

The grey sides on my Poetic Atmosphere have started to come away. Has anyone taken advantage of the 3 year guarantee advertised on Amazon?

Yes, mine did too, I've taken advantage of it by contacting them directly. Had a new one within the week.

The double dip flip is a awesome case

I just got one a few days ago. I really like it. Now I can keep it in the same pocket as my keys without scratching up the front :-)

Depends. If you constantly take off and put back on probably not long. If you leave on, it will last a while. The tightness of it is what causes this. A little hard to put on and take off and the case is made of two different materials.

I've tried three different cases with my week-old HTC One: the Cimo Grip Back Case Flexible TPU Cover; the Poetic Atmosphere Case for HTC One M7 Clear/White; and the i-Blason SoftGel Flexible TPU Case for HTC One.

I'm very careful with my phone and when it's carried in a pocket I ensure nothing else goes in with it. My goals for a case were that it be clear to let the phone's intrinsic good looks show; that it afford at least minimal screen protection if inadvertently placed face-down; that it add little or no bulk; that it be easy to take on and off as I use a different holder in the car; and that it be priced reasonably.

First up was the Cimo. This case was rather thick but afforded the best grip along the sides. My primary issue was that the covering on the volume switches simply didn't allow one to operate the switches except with great difficulty. As I use those switches frequently, this knocked the Cimo out of contention for me.

Next was the much-ballyhooed Poetic Atmosphere. A couple of things nixed this one for me. One thing was the design element on the back of the case. Some may like it, but I don't feel the HTC One case needs any embellishment. Second, the case was extremely difficult to put on or off, making it impractical for me since, as I said, I use a car holder that requires the phone be naked, and I wasn't ready for the on-off hassle. Finally, I didn't care for the stiff back on the case, though it may offer good protection. Also, this case has a reputation for poor quality, and while the company that produces it has a sterling reputation for making good on warranty claims, I feel that their efforts might better be expended on making cases that don't require warranty replacement.

Last up is the i-Blason case. This one ticked every box. It's thin and clear; it offers excellent protection on the corners; it feels "right" (extremely subjective); it goes on and off effortlessly; and it's inexpensive enough that after I received the first one I went ahead and ordered two spares. While everyone has their own goals for a case, I strongly recommend the i-Blason to those whose goals are similar to mine.

Hope this helps.

Here's my Otterbox Commuter in Lilac. I love it, just the right shade of purple.

I haven't seen anything about the GreatShield Legacy series or the Ballistic SG series. Anyone have any experience or opinions?
