Cases for the HTC One

Interesting. Why do Poetic Atmosphere cases break cases? Is it because of the exceptionally fit.?

Personally I'm a big fan of Cruzerlite for the thin TPU cases (several options including transparent) and for more protection Urban Armor Gear. Both are well made, durable and precise fit. I use both on my phones. After trying many different cases these are the two I have settled on.

I don't really like the android logo on the back, is there another design I can choose?

the Urban Armor is very thick which I don't really want.

Yes that is the brand and they do have several different designs. My favorite is the Bugdroid. They all have the android logo of some sort on them though. What I like about the urban armor gear case is that it gives the phone a flat back for laying on a table. It also gives the phone a really good feel and even though the buttons are covered they are very responsive. For me the power button is even easier to find and use with this case. To me it is not that bulky of a feel, certainly less than most of the more protective cases. Good luck finding the right case, I tend to go through quite a few before finding what I want.

The site says the double dip is official, but I am not so sure it is. Everything else on the site consists of mostly brands I've never heard of. I would use caution in ordering from there. It looks cool, but I have never heard of that site before.

Got my replacement Poetic Atmosphere after the edges peeled away. Great having the 3 year warranty but I really hope they've improved it so I don't need to keep getting a replacement every two months.

Mine is starting to peel away, how'd you get them to give u a new one?

It's been 5 weeks since I ordered a MEIFENG (Bear Motion) in grey and the Nillkin slim case in black. They haven't but this time frame is normal every time I order something from China I hope they get here next week. In the mean time, I ordered two $1 slim cases with frosted back (cheap as hell but I saw photos and video in another site and they looked good!) last week from China as well.

When any of them arrive I will happily upload photos and post comments. Right now, the Incipo Feather I have in black is a great case but we can't have too many, right

ended up ordering this for ?18 from Amazon but was dispatched from the US San Francisco. Love the case but after one day's use, the top right is peeling away. :-(

Requested a return from Amazon.

Maybe i should do it directly with Poetic and hopefully I should not have to pay the cost to send it back to the US :-(

DO NOT BUY THIS! The holding "mechanism" is a joke, the price is ridiculous (sold new on ebay for <$25), and their customer service is quickly approaching bogus.

This might be a dumb question but...

Is the One compatible with the smart-view type cases they have for the S4 and LG G2? I absolutely love the idea of a flip book case having a cut out window, able to see notifications and the time, and the magnetic close (but I would also be ok with a snap close case if the HTC one doesn't have that magnetic mechanism.) Is it like a software thing for these two phones to have the smart view features? Because I've been looking for a smart view type case for the One but am coming up short. I love that the LG G2 smart window cases are available in 7 different colors so it would be awesome to see this available for the One.

Bought the Poetic Atmosphere and it had the peeling issue so got a refund. Now on the hunt for another case but like the look of the Poetic Atmosphere.

I did, i used the barely there. It was nice, the plastic was dove and has a nice feel to it, the inner side has felt so it should add scratches protection. However mine was not perfectly fitted, i could slide the phone very slightly in the case but no big deal, didn't bother me at all.

42 pages in this thread and all these cases are **** ugly. still have a naked htc one in mint condition. just be careful with your phone....would you put an otterbox on a newborn baby because your afraid to drop him/her...no...just be a little more mindful when your carrying a $600 phone!
