Cases for the Nexus 6P

All the other case manufactors I listed are going to give you otterbox Commuter Style case at best.

The Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro is a very heavy duty case that rivals an Otterbox Defender. (for less than half the price) I feel like I could throw it at a brick wall. (not about to test that though)

Just wanted a kickstand pretty bad, otherwise would have went with the Supcase Beetle. Kinda sucks that the nexus logo gets blocked, but I'm not one looking for people to know what phone I have. Would have loved the blue color, but alas, I wish they kept the part around the screen black. Alas, I am going with black.

Agreed, i really liked the Supcase Beetle, but wanted a kickstand ( lack of one on my HTC M8 is annoying )

but i ended up getting its twin https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0146MZSP...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4743811 due to Amazon Prime and the Shipping on the other one was close the same price as the case itself ( and 1 Week delivery )

Just got a tweet from Poetic saying that they're making a case for the 6P. It'll be available in November. I hope it'll be a Revolution case.

How important are dual layers? I'm looking at the SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle case (one piece) and the Verus High Pro Shield (soft cover cover and hard case). I like the SUPCASE because it has a transparent back, but am worried it would not protect the phone as well.

If your concern is protection, go with the Unicorn Beetle Pro. It has a bigger lip to protect the corners, and the front comes with a built-in screen protector. The same with the Poetic Revolution case. That one is reminiscent of UAG. I'm waiting for that to be released in November, but I ordered the UBP, too.

Is it the clear Moko Case? I wanted to get it, but i didn't want to wait until November to receive it as I have a feeling the phones will be shipping early. Perhaps not as early as the 5x, but still, this is great news!

I went with the Verus case myself... as much as I really want to use the 6P without a case, with my luck that'll come back to bite me pretty quickly. Almost went with one of the clear cases, and might still end up buying one just to try it out.

The only issue I've had is that my Verus case for my Note 4 had really bad rubbery, non-tactile metal buttons on the sides for power and volume. My fiancée has had good luck with hers but I'd like to see Spigen come out with some cases as I've had good luck with them.

That would be an absolute no-go for me. This is a big/tall phone. Can you imagine the brick you would create by putting a 7500mah battery case on this thing? I think I can make the 3500mah internal battery work, so I'm looking for the SLIMMEST case I can find with decent 'scratch' protection. I don't work in construction so I certainly don't need an otterbox.

Yeah same here - I got the Verus, I love how the phone looks aesthetically, and REALLY want to use it without a case, but i didn't opt for the protection plan, so it needs some level of protection!

We're in the same boat then. I would be very interested in a low-profile aluminum bumper-style case for the 6P, like these:

Kommandant Nexus 5 Ultra-Thin Metal Aluminum Case (here's a review of it)
DAYJOY Aluminum Bumper for Nexus 5

Wireless signal interference shouldn't be an issue as long as the metal material is formed to wrap around the 6P's raised antenna bump at the top of the phone. If I ever find the time, maybe I'll 3D print one in plastic to try it out and have it produced in DMLS titanium from Shapeways or Materialise if it works out well.
