I can't even remember the last time Otterbox made a Nexus case??? I don't believe they had one for the Nexus 4, 5 or 6................... I always like the commuter case they make.. Decent protection with minimal bulk added to the device... but the last time I had one was for my Galaxy S3 years ago (well I have one on my company iPhone 6)

Otterbox is out. I have an Otterbox Armour series on my phone. These most durable case I think ever created. The problem therein lies is that it is so rugged it muffles the call audio quality.

Just to be sure, the LAF is the little opening just under the LED flash? If that's the case, I'm seeing a few cases on Amazon with that area exposed?

For those of you like me that missed on the $2 case last week, here is another on Amazon that is a knockoff of Spigen neo hybrid clear (which has not been announced for the Nexus 6P). Looks nice to me:

The thing I wish every case maker would do is put a collapsible kick stand in their design for easier media viewing.

As for me my phone is precious and must be protected at all costs so I like me some tank like armor cases.

My roommate had a LG g3 with zero lemon battery case and I love the brick like heft and protection it provides.

My nexus 6 has a moko case that is stylish, had a kick stand and although not brick like had saved my phone from smashing about 2 down times over the past year.

Moko makes a 6p case but it looks like it blocks the laser focus. The spigen case looks good but doesn't have a kickstand.

Looks like the hunt for the perfect case continues.

I wish that speck would make a tank case for the 6p, had one of those back on my iPod touch back in the day and that was beautiful and indestructible.

Otterbox made cases for the Galaxy Nexus I do believe I had a commuter case on mine. BUT it was a while ago I might be thinking of another brand.

As stated I really wish Spigen would make one of their thin hard cases for this phone. I LOVED the one I had on my GS5!

I'm a middle of the road user too, especially if I am going to pull the trigger on a phone that has a .7 inch bigger screen than my current phone. It's going to be strange enough getting used to the added bulk of the phone without putting a heavy duty case on it. the Verus case looks like its going to be the case for me. Very similar to the slim armor case im currently rocking on my One M8 and its not every expensive.

Otterbox didn't make one for the Nexus 6, so you never know. I'm personally not a fan of Otterbox, due to the crazy prices they want. You can find super protective cases for half the price (or less) elsewhere. The Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro is a super heavy duty case you can find for less than $20.

I really hope they make these slim fit cases like this one I use on my 6+ from Totallee.

I don't like the full coverage ones even those that are "slim fit" but still protrude around the sides of the screen. I always use a tempered glass protector so I don't want that raised lip on the sides.

Seido, Spigen, Caseology, and Incipio, and Ballistic Cases have all support the Nexus Line in recent years.

Ballistic going to be close Otterbox Defender like case for Nexus 6P. This just speculation based on lastest Nexus 6 offerings. Ballistic cases are not water proof for the Nexus 6.

All the other case manufactors I listed are going to give you otterbox Commuter Style case at best.

Seidio does offer s true otterbox defended equivalent called "OBEX" but unfortunately their latest offerings are reserved for Iphone 6.

They stated they won't make one? I am not actually stating any manufactors are going making cases for 6P. I am just speculating on what these companies done last year for the Nexus 6.

I e-mailed them and asked. They answered yesterday and said no. Seidio is making one for sure.

Has anyone seen any slim fitting cases other than the ones in the Google Store? I've been scouring the Internet and I've gotten nothing. I really want another Ringke Fusion type case (pictured). I had one on my N5 and it was hands down the best clear case I've ever owned. Now they're very slippery. They're making one for the 5X, but I haven't seen any 6P renders.

I like this one... just canceled my case order from Google Store and ordered this one. Amazon says it will be in store on Oct 16th. With Amazon Prime I should have it a couple days after it arrives. I went with the Electric Blue hard case ring.

Supcase is making the unicorn beetle and the unicorn beetle pro one too. I like the look of these cases the best. I'm also really happy to know I'll be able to get a good rugged case with a built-in screen protector and and belt clip to hold it face in for my work. There on amazon for like 15$+5$ shipping and come in 5 colors for the pro series.
