Cases for the S6 active

Right, screen always needs extra protection, and no matter how sturdy it can always get scuffs. I've personally also decided to just use a screen protector, as I don't think the extra bulk of even a bumper case is worth it.

Same here..

This phone is built like a tank, watch what they have to go through to get it apart.

thanks for the replies everyone. i'm like 95% sure this is the phone for me now.... just wish it had a finger print scanner and id be 100% there.

I picked up the Body Glove Satin Pro Case from AT&T over the weekend for my S6 active. I'll be using this case when I'm at home/lounging around and the Pelican ProGear Voyager case when I'm at work and working outside. Here's a link for the Body Glove case: Body Glove Satin Pro Case for Samsung Galaxy S6 active -- AT&T

I love this case. It feels like there isn't a case on my phone at all and it makes the phone easy to slide in/out of my pocket. I'm happy with it and it was relatively cheap at $25.

Does that body glove have a cover on the USB charging port that you have to flip open?

Case finally came today. Quick impressions. Color combo is PERFECT! :D. Adds a little more bulk but not as much as I expected. Nice lip around the front edge. It's not real slippery nor very grippy. Edges on the back sides are sharp. Picky but the camera opening on the back seems "off" . Doesn't interfere with anything, just looks like it should be moved over a bit. Buttons are Very easy to push. May be too easy in fact. Umm.. what else... guess that's all I got off the top of my head.

Apologies for the lackluster pics.

Ok, great case but the buttons(Vol +/- , Active, Power ) are way too sensitive. Any accidental touch triggers them. Otherwise I'm really diggin' it.

Might send off an email to see if it's a defect.

That's the one problem I have with the Pelican case. The buttons are way too sensitive and that's why I am using the Body Glove satin case now.

Finally got my i-blason clear back, black border case. the back and sides are so shiny that it looks like a cheap plastic furniture plastic cover. It does have a thinner profile than the supcase I had on prior.
The buttons are much easier to push than the supcase as well. Guess I'll have to keep looking. Still not finding something I truly love.

Anyone try this bumper case?

Completely agree, but really only the edges need protection, which is why I'm gonna try out the Case-Mate Tough Frame Black Bumper from AT&T's website. It's still a bit too heavy duty for my taste, so I hope more case manufacturers realize that this phone really only needs protection against cosmetic damages (aside from the screen, of course) and make more minimalist designs.

Did you try the bumper case?

I was afraid of that :( . Thanks for the update though. I have this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XZGQ4BK/ref=s9_simh_gw_p107_d0_i2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=desktop-1&pf_rd_r=0EZTFZ4VN89PNPP4FK1V&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=2079475242&pf_rd_i=desktop arriving tomorrow. Don't have high hopes but maybe it'll surprise me. I agree with you, not finding a case a really love. :\

Looked at that case-mate in store, they let me put it on. Not that great imho, added too much bulk and has shiny clear poly on sides. I just want an absolute minimal case on this, a skin would even do for me.

Any chance you could post pic's ?

Got this one in the mail today and my wife got hers two days ago. I like it. Adds a little more girth and makes it feel better in your hand. Feels a little slippery like I might drop it without a case. This one reminds me of the commuter cases I am used to using on other phones.

Just got mine today too. No real impressions yet as I JUST put it on, but it seems like a decent case.

I'll try too today. If not, there are some picks in the Amazon reviews.
