Cases for the Verizon G2

I went a little case crazy and have some cases I would like to sell. I have a Tudia melody and a incipio dual pro. Both are Verizon specific both are black. Only selling because I couldn't find a holster to hold them and I'm too fat to put on my pocket comfortably.

I have ordered a couple cases that should be delivered tomorrow, so I'll report back how they fit the Verizon G2.

Okay, so here's what I've found with these cases.

Body Glove case DOESN'T FIT Verizon G2, it's not close enough to work with, do not buy for Verizon G2

Spigen Slim Armor DOESN'T FIT Verizon G2, it's not close enough to work with, do not buy for Verizon G2. I reached out to Spigen, and here's there reply.


Ballistic Shell Gel DOES FIT, and it fits great, looks great. I'm very happy with this case. Ballistic has two versions of this case, so be aware of that. One is for the International/AT&T and the other is for Verizon, be sure you are ordering the correct version. The correct part number is SG1233-A065

I haven't received any other cases yet, Incipio will be here Monday and it is a Verizon specific version, so I'm sure it will fit. The Beyond Cell case should also be here Monday, it says that it fits both AT&T and Verizon phones, so we shall see

Got my Incipio Feather case when I got home, pretty quick shipping from Verizon. Case looks good and fits nicely, I'm happy so far and I'll be using this case in my off hours.

what screen protector do you use? does the ballistic peel off the screen protector in edges and make bubbles?

The biggest reason to get a case for the G2 it to protect the camera lens from being scratched. With the lens being flush with the back of the phone it is very prone to scratches.

The camera lense Is Sapphire so it will not scratch easy at all.

The Verizon one scratches very easy. There are several threads discussing it with one guy using a 230x microscope! Apparently there's something wrong with how it was made. I have several scratches but haven't noticed a degradation in photos so I'm not to worried.

It is not scratches but imperfections in the Sapphire which is a disappointment since it is lab created.

Check this company out - Aegis Case for LG G2 (you can find them on Amazon also). I'm actually surprised this company has not been mentioned, at least not in this thread. The charging and headphone ports are covered as well as a mesh screen over the speakers. This was the main reason I choose a case from this company and I had great luck with one on my old phone. The Trident cases are comparable to the Otter Boxes - generally more emphasis on protection than slimness. At this time they only offer their "Aegis" line for the G2 which is very silimilar to the Otter Box Commuter. Fortunetly for me, the Aegis line is what I prefer. As for other phones, their "Kraken" line is comparable to the Otter Box Defender.

I just received the case last night and overall I'm very happy with it. You'll see on the website that it's not Verizon specific but says it's compatible. The case is just like the picture shows and has the bigger opening around the camera to accomodate the other cell providers. Personally, this doesn't bother me. It seems to fit good even though someone said that the Verizon phones were a bit different is size. My only minor complaint would be the opening around the speakers. The hole is not quite big enough so basically one of the speakers is about half covered. It doesn't seem to affect the sound although I haven't really tested it.

Note: The case comes with a screen protector (which I didn't use) but I noticed that the cutout at the top for the camera and speaker is wider than a Verizon specific one. So basically it would not cover the Verizon logo all the way.

If you're looking for a case that offers good protection with the addition of covered ports yet is not too bulky, this is the case to get. I will say I am intrigued by the Incipio DualPro. It looks like it offers similar protection yet is smaller and slimmer. But just no covered ports...

I got the silicone case that Verizon offers. It adds moderate protection but is still slim enough. My only complaint is that dust builds up around the lip of the case.

Still have to order a case for my G2 but I am cheap as hell when it comes to shopping for em. This Tudia Ultra Slim Melody Series looks pretty nice for the money: (Id like to preserve the slim appearance of the phone as much as possible)

Nice fitting case. Doesn't interfere with the screen protector nor does it have an annoying edge. Good grip but not as good as some I've had on other phones. For the price it's right for me.

i have not been flashing roms, I am rooted, and I use the Rooted hot Spot variant with my phone.

Hi, I'm not rooted and foxfi hasn't updated yet to work on the LG G2. My question is are you saying that if I root I can then do the hotspot without paying the 30 monthly Verizon fee?
