Cast Screen

Under the Display settings, there's a "Cast Screen" option under "Wireless Display." I think it's a recent addition.

Wireless Display is for Miracast. What is Cast Screen? Does it work by itself or with some sort of adapter?

It seems likely that it's intended to work with a Chromecast. But I don't have one (or an HDMI-capable TV :-O ) so I can't test it.

I have a Chromecast and it doesn't work for that, but it might be for DLNA casting your own pics etc to the TV.

Yes, you would need a DLNA compatible adapter. I will try mine in DLNA mode this evening and report back.

Rats, can't use Chromecast when Tethering. It needs it's own wifi source and the X, as good as it is, can't have wifi and Tether operating at the same time.
