Casting to Chromecast from within a downloaded episode on Netflix

[Android Central Question]

Hi All. I'm hoping you guys can help me. I need to know how Chromecast works when I download an episode from Netflix etc. Is there some local web-server lite instance that is used in my phone to stream the content when I choose cast while watching the downloaded show, or does the phone redirect to external netflix remote webserver and stream directly from it as normal? I'm trying to develop an app on android and ios using Unity that will allow content to be streamed direct from the smart phone to chromecast in TV. Thanks in advance for any and all guidance, I greatly appreciate it.

It's cast from the phone. That's why you need to be on the same network.
