Home network. Multiple PCs, Macs, Android and iOS devices.
One of these is a Bravia Android TV.
When someone is watching television, Chrome on every device displays "casting to TV" with the usual video controls.
All of the devices are logged in using a different Google account, to each other and to the TV.
Clicking the "stop casting" button does not seem to do anything, though.
None of the devices are actually casting, and each account should not be able to see what the other is doing.
What is going on?
MTIA.

Re: "Casting to Disney Plus" on all instances of Chrome on network (WTF)

I assume the TV has Chromecast built in?

Casting isn't dependant on Google account, if the TV is capable of casting it will show up for everyone when it's powered on, that's perfectly normal behavior. I can see my neighbors TV, walk into Bestbuy and dozens of TV's show up to cast to.

As to why it's displaying "Now Casting" I'm not sure, I don't really use Google Chrome, hopefully someone here knows more about that.

Welcome to Android Central! Open your Google Home app, select the Chromecast device in question, tap the gear icon, then Recognition & Sharing. Under "Let others control your cast media," tap Never. You can do that for each individual device on your network.
