Casting your screen

Is there something you need to do to cast ( screen share) your screen . My old phone with uld start searching for compatible devices when I turned the option on. This phone automatically says no devices available. They is no button to search for devices.

It searches automatically as well. What are you trying to cast to? It will only cast to a Chromecast device, not Miracast.

Oh. It only cast to Miracast I don't know if my tv supports that. My old phone casted just fine

Assuming it's like the 1st gen Moto Z (and most current Android), they've droppped Miracast support. You'll need a device like a Chromecast to cast the screen, and some apps are set up to not allow casting due to copyright issues (or app developers just being a pain about such things...)

Ya no Miracast which is stupid, I was looking for that when i got my new car stereo that supported that, and well Moto does not. Pretty much have to use Chromecast
