Change Input Language (FAST!)

Hey guys, I work for a company that requires me to write in various languages. I've been a Blackberry user for 4 years now, and to be honest, I'm just a tad bit erked with the last Storm2 that came out. I love BB but I need a larger screen. One of the greatest things about Blackbery storms and iphones is the ability to change input language with literally one click / tap. I'm considering the new HTC Desire (just came out with Vodafone! Yay!) But i'd like to know how easy it is to switch between languages. I also use messenger a lot, so I'd need to have 5 different conversations in maybe 3 different languages all at once.

How hard would this be?

In Android, you tap the input area and hold. This brings up options, such as Paste and Input Method. Input Method lets you change to a different keyboard. You will have to find and install the different language keyboards you need from the Market or from an APK file (non-Market app).

I envy you being able to get the HTC Desire. That's the phone I really wanted, but the closest we've got is the Incredible.
