Change Verizon Wireless

Anyone know where or how to change the Verizon name on the lock screen and notification drop down. I seen it done but can't find a way around the net. Was so easy back in the day with the cheap flip phones. Thanks if anyone knows how

Pull down editor in market. But last I checked it didn't work on X. I also believe u need to be rooted.

If you feel they are "ripping you off"....the last I knew this is a free country.. YOU have the choice of sticking with Verizon or going to another carrier... so, I guess what I am saying is, it sounds to me like you are choosing to let them rip you off.....just sayin'

I'm so tired of seeing this. I'm not trying to attack you, traindrvr, just in general. Some people DON'T have a choice. Maybe Verizon is the only reliable service where they are. Maybe they get a discount through work, making verizon the necessary financial choice. Maybe there are other reasons I can't think of because I just did an overnight.

Yes, there are some situations where people do not have a viable carrier choice.

And for the second time today... </rant> I'm gonna go take a nap.

U say ouch. My bill is roughly 488$ a month i have like 8 devices on my account. And when the galaxy tab drops my bill will reach about 550$. I could shop around but why. Vzw firs my needs and wants. Oh they work better then an other place.

I opened a new line just to get the X. Now I have a random number on a junk flip phone in my drawer. I say its still a win.
