I have a website icon on my home page that I want to change the name to make it easier to to ID. How do I do that? Thanks.

You can do that couple ways
3rd party launcher like nove and change the label or open that website then tap add to home screen a little pop menu will come up to add to home screen erase the heading there to what you like then continue to add to home screen and delete the other icon

Yeah chrome i was referring to or 3rd party launcher like NovaI really wanted this to work BUT.... I just tried "altering" the icon's description and resaving it back to the desktop. No can do. I edited what more or less said "Seattle Weather, breaking news, Komo" by deleting the Seattle and everything after weather, leaving WEATHER. Three times it saved it with the Seattle still prepended and "weather" cut off since it limits how much shows. Oh, Firefox by the way. I may try Chrome.
Edited to add: Seems to work in Chrome. Although, the icon is more generic as opposed to a nice square with KOMO in its image. The Chrome version on shows a simple "K" Tradeoffs
