Changing dock w/ Launcher Pro

Perhaps a stupid question, but I've got about 20 tabs opened up trying to figure it out and I just haven't found it yet

I have a non-rooted Atrix w/ Launcher Pro.
I've been wanting to change my dock to something such as:

or

How do you use the icons/text on the docks above vs the default ones for the launcher.

I applied the dock through the LP settings, but it left the default icons right on top of the text. I can remove the icons, but then I have no functioning dock buttons.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
