Changing frequency of notifications for Galaxy S8

I changed the notification ring to "continuous" so it will not stop after one ring. I want to change it back So it will NOT continue to ring periodically when I haven't answered a text or a what's app? How can I do that for Samsung Galaxy S8

Settings, Notifications, select messages, select your preferences
