Changing the Lock Screen

Currently I have the controls for the Samsung music player on my lock screen (I am not sure how that happened, but I originally had the TV remote widget). Anyway I do want a music player widget on the lock screen, but not the Samsung one (I prefer the AT&T provided "Music" app). How can I remove the Samsung music player from the lock screen and then add the "Music" widget? I unlock with a pin. I am running 4.3.
