Charging for the first time

A purchased a nexus 7 tablet yesterday. I began charging it and turned it on. I took it off the charger about 45 mins later as I was going out. Will this mean my battery performance will be not so good? My reasoning was no as li-on cells do not have a memory and the device would have been fully charged at the factory. I am hoping its fine. My current battery stats are: 75% battery after running for 3 and 18 mins, screen is at auto in a dimly lit room. Usage has been internet browsing.

I charge it until it was completely charged the first time and charge it each night while I sleep which seems to work for me.
