Charging overnight?

I never said anything like that. Turning around is obviously much worse, and turning slightly downward is slightly worse--the more the deflection, the worse it is.
Well there are other factors to consider like Display screen size and location but that's also splitting hairs. I can see the road and my display at the same time and since it's a large display, I don't have to focus on it as much as I would looking at my phone.

That's a good point. I wonder if there are any studies about the comparison.

A very slight difference in safety, multiplied by millions of instances, can amount to a difference of a handful of lives. I wouldn't call that splitting hairs.

Man for someone so concerned about safety I'm shocked you're okay with having something on your dash obstructing a part of your view!

It doesn't obstruct the view of anything nearby enough to matter. Mike's point about relative screen size seems a much more serious consideration.

I haven't charged my phone overnight ever since I got this phone (I used to do that for all other phones). The reason why is because that Battery Charging indicator on the AOD drives me nuts. It's on even though the AOD is set to off and will be on the whole night if charging overnight. I've read there are ways around it but I'll deal with it for now. About an hour before I go to bed, I'll charge my phone and unplug when I'm in bed. The battery is usually full in less than an hour. When I wake up, it only goes down like 1-2%.
