Chat bubbles

Often have a few conversations going, didn't like the clutter of bubbles!

OK gotcha. I will admit they’re using the chat bubbles they disappear mysteriously in consistently quite often. Especially after a session of android auto in my car. That’s why am asking as well. They are very convenient and interactive to use while you’re multitasking on your phone!

One of the first things I did after updating to Android 11 on my phone was disable chat bubbles! Hate them in FB Messenger and don't want them anywhere else either!

I used bubbles for a few weeks with Messages. It's OK, but I eventually turned it off.

well, that’s interesting, because of my pixel three XL, and my pixel 5, I’ve had chat bubbles for quite a while now on my android messages beta app.

Yeah ... the beta version had them all along. The general release has had a long slow rollout.

Yeah, I know it has. Overall though, Chat bubbles are pretty interactive to work with, and multi-tasking with them is great.

I am sad about this! I'm updated to the latest software but maybe in time I'll get it!

In your notifications, when you expand a conversation you will see an option to open in bubble. I tried this for messages and signal and works fine on my Samsung note 10+. Don't see this option for whatsapp.

Update: I happened to reinstall Google's Messaging app today and looked at the Chat Bubbles feature in Settings, and it's working right now on my S10! I'm so excited!
