Anybody know if I delete the su files in a rooted stock rom and remove superuser if that makes it look unrooted? I have to send this evo 3d back to virgin mobile and I'm getting a replacement.

That will unroot the phone.

Okay. Just wanted to make sure. The current ruu they have doesn't work on the newest hboot. I'll have to do it all manually. Including downloading a ruu and getting the stock recovery from it. Yay.

You will have to remove the files using adb in recovery most likely.

If you remove Superuser first, you wont be able to gain root access to remove the other files but if you remove the other files you won't have root access to remove Superuser. So, adb in recovery or some automatic unroot for your device or a full stock zip is what you need...probably.

I'm running with the Galaxy Nexus and it has issues right now. Likely from abuse as a hotspot for thousands of hours on end. Here are my two options:

  1. stick with the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 7, order a shiny new Nexus 10.
  2. order a shiny new Nexus 4 to replace the one that I broke, keep the Nexus 7, $100 extra in the development budget.

So I get either a Nexus 4 or a Nexus 10. I can't decide. I do really want a 10 for personal use, but I need a working phone for development. The Galaxy Nexus would work, but not quite as well as the 4.

I say nexus 4. It's a necessity to have a fully functional phone.

I'd say N4. Not sure how much you use your N7, but if you really want an N10 you can sell the 7 and get the 10.

Got my other otterbox case today...and I'm not sure I like it

I put it on and it just didn't feel as good in my hand as the defender. I think I'm gonna get a clear case for it in exchange for the commuter, I have found some I really like. As time goes on, I'm sure many more cases will be available.

Sent from there can only be HTC One
