So I finally am giving in. I am sending the GS3 back and going back to my GNex. I feel like after using this phone for a week it is a step backwards from the GNex. Loading up JellyBelly 3.6 on my Gnex now and on the phone with VZW about the return.

Too bad vzw didn't announce that developer edition earlier. Buttheads. You probably could've stuck it out with that one. In any case, sorry it didn't work out... returning stuff is always a bummer... but WELCOME BACK!!

I don't mind, I didn't waste and upgrade on that and honestly I think that the GNex with JellyBean was a much faster and nicer device. I love the feel of it compared to the GS3.

Ugh... Google Restore didn't work guess I will be manually downloading lol.

So I finally am giving in. I am sending the GS3 back and going back to my GNex. I feel like after using this phone for a week it is a step backwards from the GNex. Loading up JellyBelly 3.6 on my Gnex now and on the phone with VZW about the return.

I will be keeping my S3 along with the Nexus. I did check out the Nexus 7 and gunno pass on that , it's just not for me.
I can't convince myself that need for a tablet.Ha

I am still getting issue with JellyBelly where I reboot I get stuck on the Google lock screen. Flashed the JB bootloader before flashing the ROM but still had the issue. Going to give Vicious a try even though I doubt its the ROM.

Thanks Just have to figure out why the hell I keep getting stuck at the Google screen when I run JellyBelly. Trying with with stock CWM (non-touch as well as a different ROM) Going to flash the JB bootloader, then wipe data/cache/system then install ROM all in stock non-touch CWM. Hopefully that will do the trick lol.

Was trying to use the JB Bootloader, may use CM10, do I need to flash the bootloader as well?

Just flashed everything cleaned to 4.0.2. Going to wipe everything clean and then install the JB bootloader then try to flash the ROM.

Lol love CS reps... Had one argue vehemently with me when I got my nexus (which uses a microsim) that I could use the sim from my bionic (regular sim).. Nearly blew a gasket trying to keep my cool.

Told you you should have went with CM10 .

What steps did you take exactly, from start to finish? If you're on Gchat I can help you out...

Just firing up (unlocking and rooting, thanks to Zero) my new Nexus 7. I really like it so far. Surfing the web is a great experience and should lower my law grades next fall quite a bit because there isn't going to be a reason to get off the couch.

I leave for the Olympics next Wednesday so now i just need to start loading this bad boy with some content.
