[Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

Noooooooooooooo. So uh get the system up and running and a burnt smell started to come from the gpu. It is out now. But looks like I'll be contacting msi anyway and asking for a replacement board AND a new gpu. since although i had an....issue with installing the ram (I don't wanna talk about it. Stupid rookie mistake and honestly I'm embarrassed. But what happened with that had nothing to do with the gpu seeing as i think it was a dead fpu walking from the moment that other motherboard failed because less than 4 minutes after startup it started to smell toasty

The ram thing would not have happened had i not pushed myself into sleep depravation and tried to be a ba of computer building like i don need no sleep. Its the only reason what happened occured. I'm an id iot for pushing through with this. But i suppose that its a lesson learned.

As am i. And in the worst case scenario i will just go full atx get a new case ,gpu , and mother board. That is if msi is unhelpful /refuses to accept either rma. It'll be expensive but at the same time with all of the overtime I've been working i can take the hit if i must. But damn.

Good luck! I hope you get everything sorted quickly and it won't be too expensive.

Holy crap! How have you been man?

This year has thrown me some real curveballs, but things are starting to settle down again. I have a 6P on the way and a lot of catching up to do as far as Android is concerned, that's for sure.

Hopefully I'll be around enough to get some posts in here.

Thanks, it's nice to be back for sure. And believe me, I'll be posting my thoughts... it's been too long since I've had an Android flagship with me on a day-to-day basis.

Cool picture! :)
The g4 tends to produce those. Its honestly harder to take a bad picture with this phone than it is a good one. Even for all this phones flaws. The one thing you can nearly never fault it for is the camera
