Same. I also have the inability to remember to activate my PGM, so I sat there tapping the screen for a solid minute wondering why it wasn't turning on.

I know, I love the PGM but I hate that it requires an uninstall/reinstall to work whenever you update it or (sometimes) flash something.

I haven't had to reinstall it for a bit (knock on wood). I just don't use set on boot with it, lest my phone freezes up and dies. Yet I never forget to go in there and turn it on.

^i dont like not having a comprehensive list of kernels it works for. i was on pbj kernel the other day and bugged out when i turned pgm on.
i should not need new undies every time i go to use it.

I flashed euroskank, set it all up, got tdkr game back on, etc..
Then edited the build.prop to enable tablet mode. Reboot... nope. Lol!
I almost made a nandroid right before, then decided not to. #dumbass
Whatever. I fixed it. Would have liked to have done something more productive with that last hour though, lol

haha, that sucks.
My friend tried to root his HTC Sensation yesterday and couldn't get past the HTC screen after unlocking the bootloader. Couldn't hang out with him to see what he was doing, and now I see the difficulty that mods/advisers go through when trying to help people out without being able to see anything.
Now...time to search the forums for the HTC Sensation thread to see if I can help troubleshoot for him.

For your motivation:
It once took me 9.5 hours to unbrick a Cricket Zio. Worst experience of my life. The Zio was rooted (no idea if it is unlocked, for I mean, it's a freakin' Zio), and so my buddy decided to put ROM Manager on it. I told him to flash CWM. He did that. Turns out CWM doesn't support the Zio.
Feeling exceptionally guilty, I endeavored to figure out how in the hell to fix it. It wouldn't boot and would end up at a screen which, I think, was the bootloader. But probably not really, because, well, it's a Zio. Of course, it wouldn't work when connected to my Mac, and so I did what any good soul would do--took my fiancee's 5 year-old laptop, installed the drivers, and proceeded, after hours, to find a usable CWM that would simply boot and not flash.
Problem? There was nothing to do. Nothing to flash. Nothing to restore. Solution? Well, we couldn't get to the SDcard files on the computer, so I did what anyone would do--ripped mine out of my Incredible after transferring the backup from the internet, to the DINC, to the Zio. So I ended up trying some kid's "clean" nandroid. Clearly, this kid was a liar. It didn't boot up at all, and even worse, it seems to have put us back. Not to be deterred I found a "rom"--which, in reality was some terrible GB thing with a bunch of ICS icons and some blue--put it on the SDcard via the "INCREDIBLE Recovery Method" (patent pending), and tried that. After 22 minutes of booting up (lol and you thought the JB boot was long), it worked.
Then the dude told me he wanted to go back to stock, and well, I haven't talked to him since.
TL;DR ==> Godspeed my friend, and get creative lol.

htc can be a pain but once you have s-off everything is MOSTLY pretty straightforward from that point onwards (except, for instance, flashing new radios - that can get a little sticky - at least it was on the tbolt ... can't remember if i ever flashed a radio on the incredible .................)
anyway from what i remember with both those devices is anything that's not just a rom requires being renamed the "code name" update file name (example: PG05IMG (tbolt), PB...something for incredible) and that tells the bootloader that hte file is an update and it will ask you if yo uwant to update while in bootloader....
edit - the sensation should be WAY easier than that to restore. There's probably a one click like unrevoked or something.
If it's an update you need - it probably gets named that file type name PFJKLJ&*() something or whatever it is, stuck on the root of the sd card, and flashed in bootloader mode.

Yeah, seems like there is just no support in comparison to the Nexus line - which makes perfect sense, of course. All he really wants to do is get free wifi tether and remove some bloat. That's it.

I once sbf'd my D1 seven times in a single day because I didn't realize that the updated version of the ROM I was flashing separated gapps in that build. #rookie
Eventually went back to the thread I got it from to ask for suggestions, and realized it was an important update and I should have read the updated OP before I embarrassed myself. #lackingcommonsense

Happy monday :/
Got my acceptance to Harlem hospital's rad tech program in addition to Bellevue's. Tough call.. Bellevue's a nicer hospital and more selective. But the programs are likely the same and Harlem would mean an hour less commute everyday.. think I'm going with that.
Also just watched the Aurora shooting guy's court appearance.. Real creepy ish there. Dude looks out of his frackin mind. Got the chills.
