Yup. It's something like optimum nutrition 100% whey gold standard or something. Cookies and cream is fantabulous. Some of the flavors are actually tolerable mixed in pure water (not something I can say for most protein shakes).
I remember when the 10 lb bags of that stuff were ~$60. Currently prices make me sad.

i use a pure whey - no creatin shake. chocolate is good, strawberry and vanilla are pretty awful. chocolate with just water is acceptable, but half water half milk is my reg, all milk when i would like it to be more delicious.
was going with only whey to try to keep it lean. also heard milk protein is good for that but expensive.

Google it. And don't knock it til you try it. Also, check out recipes for a maple syrup glaze (compliments the salmon flavor nicely).

And whey is dairy based, so not sure what you mean by milk protein? Casein? If so, I use that stuff too. But it's slower to digest. Casein is good at night before bed. Whey is better first thing in the morning or post-workout.

Just get good ear buds. Cancellation tech is meh at that range.

Noise cancellation works best with consistent background noise (like the drone of jet engines). In your price range, in-ear headphones are a better bet. They act as ear plugs and will keep out a lot of sound even without any music playing. Look at headphones from Shure and Etymotics to get a sense of what's out there.
Edit: These are at the low end of your range, but you can spend as much as you want.

was just looking at some wood trimmed sennheissers or whatever hte brand is. theyre not NC tho.

Damn I wish I had the time to work out. Used to do it on the daily in high skool and college. After a days work now... I just don't have it in me to hit the weights. I try to rotate which arm I use for drinking though. So in a sense I'm still pounding the biceps. Lol
