Actually, maybe have him pick up something with Sense on it, see if that works out. The GS3 might be okay too depending on how good you think he will be at learning a new device.

Dominos isn't terrible. That doesn't mean it's good either. Especially in ny. I'm ashamed.
Nothing wrong with going iPhone or iOS for lots of users. My dad isn't a tech person and has really taken to the iPad I got him as a gift two years ago.
We're a little out of the mainstream here. We love tech and spending time tinkering on our wonderful Android devices, but we're not most people.

NIN=Nexusisnecessary. My wife and I both agree that the iPhone is excellent for a person just getting into smart phones. It is simple and functions well. User friendly UI and its less confusing that android. I hate to recommend it but it is better for the situation at hand.

I'm getting my wife's initials on my left hand fingers and my daughters name on my right hand. That's pretty much the only free space I have on my left and right appendages. Lol. I'm fully sleeved left and right.
As for the house. Yeah I checked that right away. I'm in a 4G area. I could imagine telling my wife I don't want this house because of cell coverage lol

When people ask me what type of smart phone they should get, I generally explain to them that an iPhone is simpler, so, don't feel bad recommending one. If they just need something basic and aren't that tech savvy, I have no problem recommending an iPhone. But, if they like to tinker and know what they are doing, I always recommend an Android.
