Re: [Chatter] Galaxy Nexus Crackflashers/News/Discussion

Yeah I like the windows within app transitions the most

Re: [Chatter] Galaxy Nexus Crackflashers/News/Discussion

Which ROM(s) are you guys talking about here? :D

Need something new to flash besides my current ROM: Liquid 1.25 (Hehe)

Re: [Chatter] Galaxy Nexus Crackflashers/News/Discussion

Yeah, build 31 is pretty much just bug fixes, all of which I believe th3ory included already before he put out patient zero milestone 1 with the build 30 swag... before people start asking if he's going to update patient zero again, lol :)

Re: [Chatter] Galaxy Nexus Crackflashers/News/Discussion

ROMS just keep on comin.

I had a rough week and it won't stop so it looks like just mods and kernels for me for the next few days.

Next on the list is pz milestone and/or aokp 31 i guess.

Anyone try some of the underdogs lately - icsorcery, or the newer ones butternutz or whatever it's called??

The reported bugs in AOKP build 30 don't affect me, but it gives me something to flash while having some wine. Plus, instructions say no need to data wipe going from build 30 to 31 so of course I'm flashing it! :)

Haven't tried one of the newer ones, but that may be a good reason to load up Boot Manager and load up one (or both) and give it a try.

Edit: Just loaded up AOKP build 31 so we'll see how this runs with LeakKernel 3.1.0.

Hot plug governor vs generic hot plug?

Re: [Chatter] Galaxy Nexus Crackflashers/News/Discussion

didnt realize there was a hot plug gov now.

not sure if i like hotplug overall anyway, based on the amt of battery it saves vs occasional slow wake ups

Re: [Chatter] Galaxy Nexus Crackflashers/News/Discussion

I believe hotplug is forced in th3ory's scripts anyway if you're on patient zero, so enabling it in franco's app or whatever might just conflict or be unnecessary.. I'm not 100% but pretty sure on that.

Doesn't make much difference to me one way or the other.. I don't think the battery savings we ever got from it were too much, but there could be a ton of factors that were affecting my judgement, so, idk, who knows? Lol I'm not a battery freak anyways... if I'm going to need a charger I bring a charger with me. I don't get the people who religiously stress out about trying to find the secret combination of ROM/kernel/settings that will give them like 40 minutes more battery life than before...LOL. Who needs to run their phone down to zero so much? That's what we have chargers for :)

EDIT: Lol another 2defRant......... been having a number of those lately ;)

Same here I didn't have any issues with 30 but still have to flash 31 just because.

Yeah it's not worth it to a certain extent. There's one thread where a member is saying how they'll shut down service if you root or not update with the OTA. I lol'd hard at that. I missed like 4 OTAs with the Incredible.

Does the new version of tapatalk have the electronic crotch kick button? Lol and I just replied to a thread before wandering in here.

After development is done with its beta phase. Any idea if its gonna be released in the market? Will it just be an update for me since I bought an xparent version as well ad the regular? I hope so. It would suck if I had to buy it again.

No idea... Tho it would be an a$$ move if they tried to charge for the upgrade. Especially considering that, at least so far from the betas, there really isn't much improved. Tapatalk is one of my least favorite apps. They never update it, basic things don't work properly on all sites, support is terrible. I bought it on a recommendation and I mean, it gets the job done, but it's far from perfect, IMO.
