Cheapest place for a Note II as of Jan 14th?

Ugh. I got it for $299 add a line. It's just 3 weeks ago. Well, it's been a great 3 weeks with it anyway so it's all good.

I agree. The phone is worth the $299 to me, if I was never able to price match I would be happy with that. I did price match to $199. I've got 6 days to watch if Amazon reduces upgraded lines more.

If you got it at best buy sometimes it doesn't hurt to go in and say the new price went down but I got an upgrade would I still be able to get that price matched. That worked for me. You just have to be nice and asking won't hurt.

This is a YMMV situation... I was eligible for upgrade. Went in to Best Buy to have them Price Match Amazon, who currently has the lowest price. They gave me the New Customer Amazon price of $99.99... I sold them my Galaxy S3 for $155 and they gave me a $50 gift card for using them, so end the end, got a new Note 2, flip case, and $55 in Best Buy credit after taxes to use as I wanted.

I just purchased the Note 2 from Amazon wireless after seeing they had the customer upgrade price for $199. While it's great to see others getting price matching and getting great deals, the nearest Best Buy's are 1+ hour away in either direction for me so trying to track down a store that will price match and possibly give new user pricing, I'd spend $50 in gas alone just going to each of the stores. Anyway I got the Note, Seidio kickstand case, 64GB memory and am happy.

I previously had an iphone 4s with at&t and my contract ended and I wasn't too happy with their customer service so I looked at other plans and such. Luckily I came across this forum and researched the galaxy note 2 for sprint and the most inexpensive way to get it. I went on bestbuy.com and looked at their price match regulations, went on amazon and searched galaxy note 2, found it for $99 with a new line. Best Buy price matched it for the $99 and I had a $25 coupon so my total was only $83. Without this forum I would have paid $270. Thanks all! Absolutely LOVE the note 2, wayyy better than my iphone 4s.

Great choice. Although the iPhone is a good phone is good to have choices and the note 2 is a great choice. Enjoy it. Check out videos on the note 2 at gadgetsprtal on youtube. Learned alot of stuff I would have never known.
